Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Sunday’s Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys odds and lines, with expert NFL picks, predictions and best bets.

The Arizona Cardinals (10-5) and Dallas Cowboys (11-4) face off in Week 17 as two teams who have clinched playoff berths. Kickoff from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, is set for 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday. Below, we look at the Cardinals vs. Cowboys odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

The Cardinals have lost three games in a row and are 3-5 since their 7-0 start, but clinched a playoff spot in Week 16 because the San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings both lost. They are 7-1 on the road this season with all seven wins coming by at least 10 points.

The Cowboys have the NFC East division title on a run of four straight victories. QB Dak Prescott threw 4 touchdown passes in only three quarters of work in a 56-14 beatdown of the Washington Football Team in Week 16.

The Cowboys have lost five of their last six matchups against the Cardinals, dating back to 2008.

Cardinals at Cowboys odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Cowboys 31, Cardinals 28

Money line

The Cardinals are 7-1 on the road this season by scoring at least 30 points in six of those games. However, they’ve been plagued by penalties and red-zone failures en route to three consecutive losses.

They are scoring touchdowns 35.7% of their trips to the red zone across their last three outings, compared to the 70% clip they recorded up until December.

The Cowboys are red-hot as winners of four straight games and are 5-2 at home. They have been great against the NFC with an 8-2 record within the conference.

The price is almost getting too much to bet on the money line on Dallas, but take the COWBOYS (-260).

Against the spread

The Cardinals are 7-1 ATS on the road and 9-6 ATS overall but have failed to cover the spread in their last three games.

The Cowboys are 12-3 ATS this season and have covered the spread in four straight games.

The Cowboys are eighth in scoring defense but give up yards. The Cardinals have not really been stopped by anyone but themselves, with costly penalties and mistakes in the red zone. They should have their rushing attack intact to get things going and should get going offensively.

However, the Dallas offense will be too much for the Arizona defense to stop. It will be close and come down to the wire.

Take the CARDINALS +6.5 (-115).

Over/Under

The Cowboys are the league’s top scoring offense in both yardage and points per game. The Cardinals have scored 30 or more points in six of their eight road games.

This should be a shootout.

Take OVER 51.5 (-108).
