Kevin Durant made his return to the court after missing time in health and safety protocol, but his 33-point night wasn’t enough to overcome a dominant performance from Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid.
Embiid led all scorers with 34 points, and finished the game with seven rebounds, three steals and one block. Embiid has now scored 34 points or more in each of his last three games, all Sixers wins.
James Harden also put up 33, continuing his run of strong scoring performances, and had a triple double with 14 rebounds and 10 assists. Unfortunately for Harden, he also recorded six turnovers, while Durant had an additional four.
