The Detroit Lions practice injury report for Week 17 remains a smaller list than usual. A quiet day on the COVID-19 front and no new significant injury developments is a nice change from the recent weeks.
Two more players were added to the list, CB Saivion Smith and LB Curtis Bolton. Neither is expected to play a big role for the Lions, however. Smith sat with an undisclosed illness, while Bolton was idled with a back issue.
The most significant injury remains QB Jared Goff. He missed another full practice with a knee injury. With just one practice remaining before the Lions depart for Seattle, Goff is a big question mark for Sunday. FB Jason Cabinda was also out with a knee injury.
Linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin was limited in Thursday’s session with a shoulder.
D’Andre Swift remained a full participant for the second day in a row, a very good sign the running back will be in the lineup on Sunday in Seattle.
