CU women’s basketball hit with COVID-19 issues; Oregon trip postponed

COVID-19 protocols have forced the CU WBB team to postpone its Oregon trip

Welp, the COVID-19 postponements just keep coming.

Three days after the CU men’s basketball team had to postpone its Oregon swing (Colorado will now face Oregon on Monday; Oregon State remains TBD), the women’s team has also been hit with COVID-19. JR Payne’s squad was scheduled to play Oregon State on Dec. 31 and Oregon on Jan. 2 but as of Wednesday evening, both of those contests are postponed.

The Buffs, who sit at 11-0 to begin the season, will now have to wait a little longer for Pac-12 play to begin.

If neither of those games are rescheduled sooner, Colorado’s next game will be Jan. 7 vs. USC.
