Former Vols in the NBA: Dec. 26 recap

How former Vols fared in the NBA Sunday.

Four former University of Tennessee basketball players competed in the NBA Sunday. Two made starts for their respective teams and another was inactive.

In Miami, the Heat defeated Orlando, 93-83, at FTX Arena.

Admiral Schofield made his first start for the Magic. He played 26 minutes and had six points, six rebounds, one assist and one block.

He was 3-for-7 from the field and 0-for-4 from beyond the 3-point arc.

In Washington, Philadelphia defeated the Wizards, 117-96, at Capital One Arena.

Tobias Harris started for the 76ers and logged 30 minutes. He had 23 points, seven rebounds, three assists and one steal.

Harris was 10-for-16 from the field and 3-for-4 from the free throw line.

Rookie Jaden Springer also appeared for the 76ers, playing four minutes. He finished with two points, two rebounds and two blocks.

In Los Angeles, the Clippers lost a 103-100 decision to Denver at Crypto.com Arena.

Keon Johnson played 11 minutes and had three points, three rebounds, one assist and one block. He was 0-for-3 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the free throw line.

In Sacramento, Memphis defeated the Kings, 127-102, at Golden 1 Center. Rookie Yves Pons was inactive for the Grizzlies.
