It’s time for the rematch. The Washington Football Team travels to Arlington, Texas, to face the Dallas Cowboys Sunday at AT&T Stadium. The two rivals met two weeks ago in Washington, with the Cowboys winning 27-20 and essentially wrapping up the NFC East on that day.
Dallas jumped on Washington early in that game, going into halftime with a 24-0 lead. But it wasn’t quarterback Dak Prescott and the offense that gave Washington the most problems; it was Micah Parsons and the defense.
Washington appeared to figure some things out in the second half, but the hole was too deep and a Randy Gregory sack late in the fourth quarter ended the WFT’s potential comeback.
We spoke with Cowboys Wire managing editor KD Drummond this week to prepare us for the rematch.
