The Steelers were getting beat so badly by the Chiefs that CBS switched to the Raiders taking knees

Poor Pittsburgh…

There’s nothing worse than your favorite NFL team being shifted off of national TV for a more competitive matchup.

Pittsburgh Steelers fans had to deal with a lot on Sunday in Week 16 of the season. For starters, the Steelers looked absolutely miserable in their game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes was able to march up and down the field on the Steelers’ defense, while Pittsburgh’s offense labored on all fronts.

The game was effectively over at halftime, where the Chiefs had a 23-0 lead after the first 30 minutes and ended the game 36-10 against their dejected opponents. Seriously, this is just a taste of how putrid the Steelers were on Sunday.

Yeah, it was… bad.

So bad, in fact, that CBS moved off the Steelers game for a more competitive one with approximately 10 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. And which game did CBS go to? The final moments of the Las Vegas Raiders 17-13 win over the Denver Broncos, during which the home team was in the process of kneeing the game down.

Not only that, CBS stayed on the Raiders game — where Las Vegas kneed the ball three times to end it — then went to commercials before tossing national watchers back to the end of the Steelers game. NFL fans were, as expected, both amused at the humiliation shown to Pittsburgh and also annoyed they were bounced around just to end up back at the game they started with.
