The Rams just activated Travin Howard from injured reserve last week, but he still wasn’t expected to contribute much in his return to the active roster with Ernest Jones and Troy Reeder ahead of him. He was needed early in Sunday’s game against the Vikings when Jones went down with an injury in the first quarter, though.
Howard stepped in for the injured linebacker and immediately made an impact. Four plays after entering the game, Howard pulled down his first career interception on a tipped pass in the end zone.
It was great coverage by Darious Williams, but Howard was in the perfect spot for the interception.
First career INT for @TravinTheGreat. 😤
