The last time Steph Curry suited up against the Memphis Grizzlies, he went scoreless in the fourth quarter and overtime on the way to a disappointing loss for the Golden State Warriors at home.
On Thursday, the guard got revenge against Ja Morant, Dillon Brooks and the Grizzlies.
Curry notched a game-high 46 points on 13-of-22 shooting from the field with five rebounds, two assists and a block on the way to Golden State’s 113-104 victory over Memphis. The record-breaking sharpshooter got hot from long-distance, drilling eight triples on 14 attempts from long distance.
Golden State’s Most Valuable Player candidate got especially hot in the second half, scoring 15 points in each of the third and fourth quarters. Curry buried six of his 3-pointers in the second half to put the Grizzlies away.
Curry’s explosive performance against the Grizzlies was his second-highest scoring run of the season and his first 40 point effort since Nov. 18.
