The Tennessee Titans’ Week 16 game against the San Francisco 49ers was a tale of two halves, but ultimately the Titans were able to emerge victorious, 20-17.
The Titans came out sluggish to say the least in the first two quarters, as the defense provided little resistance against the 49ers’ offense, and the Titans’ offense was simply abysmal.
However, things changed drastically in the second half, as the Titans scored all 20 of their points in the final two quarters, mostly thanks to A.J. Brown, who was an absolute superstar on Thursday night. Amani Hooker’s pick of Jimmy Garoppolo in the third quarter also provided a major spark.
After the Niners knotted up the score at 17 with a little over two minutes remaining in the game, the Titans drove down the field and set Randy Bullock up for a game-winning 44-yard field goal.
Now, let’s take a deeper dive into this Week 16 victory.
