Andre Drummond reacts to Joel Embiid, Sixers win over Celtics

Big man Andre Drummond reacts to Joel Embiid’s performance as the Philadelphia 76ers knocked off the Boston Celtics.

The shorthanded Philadelphia 76ers took a trip to the TD Garden on Monday while missing a lot of key pieces. The Sixers had to rely on a lot of young players off their bench and put even more pressure on Joel Embiid in order to get the job done against the Boston Celtics.

Embiid answered the call by going for 41 points with 10 rebounds and five assists in a 108-103 win over the Celtics. The big fella was absolutely dominant down the stretch of the game and the Sixers absolutely needed all of it.

One of the players stuck in the health and safety protocols is backup big man Andre Drummond. Despite not being able to be with his team, Drummond was definitely engaged as he loved what he saw from Embiid.

Then, Drummond saw Embiid’s stat line and he had to react again as it was an impressive stat line for him.

Not only was it Embiid, Seth Curry had himself a big game as well with 26 points and seven assists which also caught Drummond’s attention.

This was an impressive win for the Sixers who will now have two days off before returning home to host the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday before Christmas.
