Mac Jones looked like a rookie against the Indianapolis Colts.
The New England Patriots signal-caller couldn’t do much of anything from the first drive, as the Colts carried the momentum from the beginning. Jones had two interceptions over the past seven games during the Patriots’ win streak and he had two after the opening minutes of the second quarter.
Jones’ first interception was right before halftime when the Patriots were in the red zone. The Patriots had an opportunity to score, but they left the first half with no points. Jones’ second interception was on the opening drive of the second half, and that’s when Julian Edelman chimed in.
The former Patriots receiver described the scenario with Jones.
Rookie pains

Jones hasn’t had a huge meltdown as a rookie, so the performance against the Colts felt like it was due.
