Seahawks quarterbacks coach Austin Davis has been hired by Auburn to be their next offensive coordinator.
Reacting to the news, Seattle’s franchise QB Russell Wilson shared a classy message for Davis, who he called an amazing teacher.

Before coaching, Davis played several years in the NFL, totaling 16 games and 10 starts – including one very annoying victory with the Rams against the Seahawks in the 2014 season.
Davis later joined Seattle’s roster in 2017 as Wilson’s backup. After playing one more season with the Titans, Davis joined Pete Carroll’s staff as an assistant quarterbacks coach in 2019. He was promoted to quarterbacks coach last year.
