Dolphins linebacker suspended two games for violating league’s PED policy

He’ll be ever to return after the Week 16 matchup with the Saints.

The Dolphins have lost a depth player on their defense for the near future. Linebacker Darius Hodge has been suspended by the league for violating their performance-enhancing drug policy.

Hodge was claimed off of waivers early in November to take the open roster spot when DeVante Parker was placed on injured reserve. Since then, Hodge has not been able to get on the field. He, actually, hasn’t even been active on game day.

Luckily for the Dolphins, they’ve been pretty healthy at linebacker recently, so they haven’t had a reason to play him.

Hodge will be eligible to return after Miami’s Monday night matchup with the New Orleans Saints in Week 16.
