Browns RT James Hudson III added to the reserve/COVID-19 list

Browns currently have zero players listed as offensive tackles on their active roster:

The Cleveland Browns game against the Las Vegas Raiders was postponed until Monday. Many hoped that it would give the team time to get players activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list. While that still may be possible, the team continues to add to the number of players on the list Saturday.

Rookie right tackle James Hudson III was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Hudson is the third starting offensive lineman on the list at this time.

In Week 14, Hudson started in place of Blake Hance who was starting in place of Jack Conklin. He played better against the Baltimore Ravens than he had when thrust into duty earlier this season.

With Hudson out, the team has zero players designated as tackles on their active roster. Hance has played the role but is considered a guard.

Alex Taylor and Elijah Nkansah are both listed as tackles on the team’s practice squad with Taylor likely to take Hudson’s spot if nothing changes in time for Monday’s game.
