After two days without anyone being added to the reserve/COVID list, the Miami Dolphins got more bad news on Thursday.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins are placing rookie wide receiver Jaylen Waddle on the list.
At this point, it’s unclear whether or not Waddle is vaccinated. If so, he would have to produce two negative tests at least 24 hours apart to return to the team. If he’s not, he will have to wait at least 10 days.
With this news coming so late in the week, Waddle is obviously much less likely to return before Sunday’s matchup with the Jets than the other four on the list.
Miami has DeVante Parker, Albert Wilson, Preston Williams, Isaiah Ford, and Mack Hollins at wide receiver on their active roster who will all have to step up to fill the void if Waddle can’t go.
