One of the biggest recruiting wins of the season for the Michigan State staff was landing 4-star safety Jaden Mangham. The Spartans beat out West Virginia, Michigan, Georgia Tech and Nebraska, among others, for the pledge from the in-state athlete.
Mangham has made it official, inking his national letter of intent, and will officially be a member of the Spartan program.

Analysis: Mangham was a huge win for the MSU staff, keeping a top-tier talent in-state is crucial to long-term success. Mangham is the best coverage safety in this class and pairing that with his speed and willingness to support the run game, there is a strong chance we could see Mangham make an immediate impact as a true freshman at the free safety position.
