It’s getting hard to keep track of how many honors Michigan State football running back Kenneth Walker III has accrued this year, but here’s one more to add to the pile. On Tuesday, Walker was named a First Team All-American by The Sporting News.
While it is almost becoming an exercise in silliness, it shouldn’t be overlooked how amazing it is that Walker went from an afterthought transfer (to some) to one of the top players in college football.
.@kenneth_walker9 led @MSU_Football with 1,636 yards and 18 touchdowns. But we all remember his 197-yard, five-TD amazing performance against Michigan. #SNAllAmerican pic.twitter.com/OLRtnTUhkm
