When NBA TV opted to have Warriors guard Gary Payton II mic’d up for its broadcast of Golden State and the Pacers, the crew was probably hoping to capture the typical, fun in-game moments and banter between players.
Instead, viewers were treated to an example of Payton II just being a nice guy, and you know what — that was pretty great too.
At some point during Monday’s game in Indianapolis, Payton II leaned back around the stationary bikes and accidentally knocked over a fan’s drink. He realized it right away, apologized, asked what the fan was drinking and made the effort to get the drink replaced.

Now, that’s just some genuine fan-player interaction right there. Payton II even went by later to check with the fan and make sure everything was taken care of.
Party Foul! My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused lol đ¤đž https://t.co/EgRFZ6wgH2
