As you’d expect, Jalen Ramsey is not happy about being placed on COVID-19 reserve just hours before the Rams were slated to face the Cardinals in Arizona. Ramsey was added to the list Monday, along with Tyler Higbee, forcing them both to miss this prime-time matchup.
After the news broke, Ramsey tweeted his frustration, saying he’s “pissed off” and asking folks not to talk to him about it. On a positive note, he feels fine.
He just wishes he could be out there with his teammates in what’s undoubtedly the biggest game of the season for the Rams. They need a win to keep their NFC West hopes alive, and being without Ramsey – as well as Higbee, Darrell Henderson Jr., Rob Havenstein and Dont’e Deayon – is a massive blow for Los Angeles.
😞 wish I could be out there tonight… this is some bullshid. I’m pissed off but Go Rams tho regardless❕
(I feel fine/normal)
& to whom it may concern: don’t hmu please https://t.co/XUQcEPmtyf— Jalen Ramsey (@jalenramsey) December 13, 2021
The Rams will have to handle DeAndre Hopkins without Ramsey tonight, which will be a challenge considering Darious Williams and David Long Jr. are the only other cornerbacks on the roster who weren’t just called up from the practice squad.
