Everyone has an opinion on quarterback Bo Nix transferring away from Auburn.
Nix announced the news Sunday evening on his Instagram page.
The SEC Network’s Paul Finebaum went on WJOX radio Monday morning to discuss his thoughts about Nix entering the transfer portal.
“I think it’s in his best interest Greg (McElroy). And even though the season went well until he got hurt, you know and everyone close to that program knows the difficulty that he was encountering,” Finebaum said. “There were people on that staff that wondered how long he would be able to exist. There’s no reason to bring up old bones here but there was clearly a disconnect at times between Bo, his coaches, and the rest of the team. I have no idea why that was the case cause I’m just telling you what was disseminated through the pipeline. I think he has an opportunity to have a really big year somewhere under the right coach, certainly under someone who can mirror his game.”
Nix will be eligible immediately and have two years left to play at his new school.
