NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors’ loss vs. Sixers, 102-93

Following the Warriors’ late loss to the Sixers on Saturday, the NBA community on Twitter weighed in with different reactions. Here’s what fans and analysts were saying.

History will have to wait another day.

Heading into Saturday’s contest against the Philadelphia 76ers, Steph Curry needed only 10 more 3-pointers to pass Hall of Famer Ray Allen’s record for most made triples in NBA history.

However, Curry finished the contest shooting a quiet 3-of-14 from beyond the arc. Sixers wing Matisse Thuybulle provided fierce defense, limiting Curry to only 18 points on 6-of-20 shooting from the floor on Saturday night.

With Curry struggling to get off a jumper, Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins helped pace the Warriors. Poole scored a team-high 23 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the floor. Wiggins added 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the floor with four boards and four assists.

Despite Wiggins and Poole’s efforts, the Warriors couldn’t answer a late surge from the Sixers. Behind Joel Embiid, Philadelphia outscored Golden State 32-20 in the final frame on the way to a 102-93 victory.

Following the Warriors’ loss to drop their record to 21-5, the NBA Twitter community chimed in with a bevy of different reactions. Here is a look at what fans and analysts were saying about Curry, Poole, Wiggins and the Warriors on Saturday night.
