Trail Blazers have made it clear to Sixers that Damian Lillard not available

The Portland Trail Blazers have told the Philadelphia 76ers that Damian Lillard is not available in trade talks.

The Philadelphia 76ers are still working on trying to get the right value in return in a possible trade for one of the game’s brightest stars in Ben Simmons. While the star guard still wants out of the City of Brotherly Love, the Sixers still want a Top 25 player in return for him.

One player who has been at the top of their wish list has been Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard. The Sixers have been staying patient hoping that Lillard would finally request a trade, but he has maintained his loyalty, and the Blazers aren’t making him available even after the firing of GM Neil Olshey.

As the trade talks begin to heat up for Simmons, the Blazers have told the Sixers that Lillard is just not available in any trades.

It will be interesting to see what the Sixers can do in these possible Simmons deals. While it appears that Lillard is indeed off the table, they can still get some type of deal done for him. He is a bright star and they just need to make sure they get the right deal in return for him.
