Miles Bridges wasn’t amused with Andre Drummond: ‘He flopped’

Bridges and Drummond shared some words following a shove in last night’s game.

Miles Bridges isn’t afraid to challenge anyone, whether that’s attempting a dunk on them or getting physical with them.

In Wednesday night’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, Bridges and 76ers center Andre Drummond shared some words after Bridges shoved Drummond over on a rebound. Drummond then ran up to Bridges to voice his feelings.

After the game, Bridges spoke on the incident. “He flopped. I barely hit him. How big is he? Seven foot, 280? It’s nothing,” Bridges said. “Nobody is ever going to fight in the NBA. The NBA is kind of like WWE. Ain’t nobody about to fight. He had his chance to do something but it’s all for entertainment.”

And Bridges has a point — when is the last time you saw a real fight in the NBA? Not the Isaiah Stewart solo melee but a real fight. The Chris Paul-Rajon Rondo scuffle in 2018? For the most part, it’s all talk because it’s not that serious and these players know the consequences for fighting.
