Steve Sarkisian and company are making their way around the country to visit top prospects.
The Texas staff met with five-star linebacker Harold Perkins in his home on Wednesday night. Pictured below is special teams coordinator Jeff Banks, safeties coach Blake Gideon, secondary coach Terry Joesph, head coach Steve Sarkisian and defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski.
Having several of Texas’ top recruiters present at Perkins home is a clear indicator of the type of rare talent he possesses.

The 247Sports composite rankings have Perkins rated as the No. 1 linebacker in the country and No. 5 overall prospect in the 2022 class.
Pekins has named Texas A&M, LSU and Texas as his top three schools as he plans to sign during the early signing period next week.
A commitment from Perkins would make up an excellent linebacker class for Texas. The Horns currently have two linebackers committed in four-star Kobie Mckinzie and three-star Trevell Johnson.
Texas’ recruiting class is ranked No. 7 in the nation with multiple top targets still on the board. Steve Sarkisian’s first full class has a chance to finish in the top five if Texas can close with a few key players down the stretch.
After a 5-7 record Texas’ recruiting effort has been impressive.
