Ingram has gone through his ups and downs, including a lingering hip injury that cost him seven games and compromised him for at least a few others. But he’s starting to hit his stride, and Ingram and Green have acknowledged that perhaps the most significant difference has been each of them gaining a better understanding of what the team should do to put Ingram in positions to succeed more consistently. “He’s just been playing at a higher level, playing faster, more aware of what’s going on around him,” Green said. “Really, there are times when he’s just taking over the game, which I love to see from him.”
