The Lions picked up their first win of the season Sunday, defeating the Minnesota Vikings 29-27. QB Jared Goff threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to WR Amon-Ra St. Brown as time expired in the fourth quarter to win the game. The Lions jumped out to a 20-6 halftime lead, fell behind 27-23 with 1:50 to go before the winning drive.
The Broncos lost 22-9 to the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday night. They outgained the Chiefs 404-267 in yards and did not allow QB Patrick Mahomes to throw a touchdown pass, but 3 turnovers, including 2 interceptions thrown by QB Teddy Bridgewater, were the difference.

Lions at Broncos head-to-head
The Lions faced the Broncos on the road just two seasons ago with Denver picking up a 27-17 win.
They have only faced each other 13 times, dating back to 1971. The Broncos lead the all-time series 8-5.
Bridgewater is 2-2 in four career starts against the Lions, although none of those starts were as a member of the Broncos.
Goff is 1-0 in his career against the Broncos but did not have a good game. He was sacked 5 times, did not throw a touchdown pass and was picked off once in a 23-20 win in 2018.
