Willie Tyler is on a visit at Rutgers, one of the top prospects in the transfer portal potentially filling a huge area of need for the program.

An offensive tackle out of the University of Louisiana-Monroe, Tyler’s visit to Rutgers is a huge momentum boost on the recruiting trail and represents a potentially massive commitment for the Scarlet Knights. Tyler has a number of top suitors and several ‘Power Five’ offers that makes him one of the top offensive linemen currently in the transfer portal.

Were he to commit to Rutgers, it is likely that he becomes an instant start for an offensive line that needs two starters in the transfer portal to become competitive in the Big Ten.

On Friday night, ‘Rutgers Wire’ first reported that Tyler was on a visit with the Scarlet Knights. The visit is expected to wrap up on Sunday.

On Wednesday, ‘Rutgers Wire’ reported that Curtis Dunlap, a guard out of Minnesota who was also in the transfer portal, had taken a visit to Rutgers. Dunlap is a guard with solid experience in the Big Ten.
