Faking must be a Pittsburgh thing.
Decades after Dan Marino pulled the fake spike on the New York Jets, Kenny Pickett, another Pitt QB, worked the fake slide in the ACC Championship Game Saturday against Wake Forest.
Check Pickett out as he takes off for a run and looks like he is about to give himself up and slide.
Fooled ya!
Pickett keeps rolling and winds up in the end zone after the 58-yard run for the Panthers.

Former NFL WR Torrey Smith didn’t like Pickett’s trickery.
This should be illegal. If they would’ve crushed him we would’ve been mad. You can’t do that. https://t.co/cIGOuMGF1p

And for those of you who don’t remember or haven’t seen it, the fake spike by the Dolphins’ QB against the New York Jets.
