The Charlotte Hornets have been hit by COVID.
The team announced via Twitter on Saturday morning that LaMelo Ball, Jalen McDaniels, Mason Plumlee, and Terry Rozier were all placed in the NBA’s health and safety protocols.
UPDATE: @hornets have placed the following players in the NBA's Health and Safety Protocols: LaMelo Ball, Jalen McDaniels, Mason Plumlee and Terry Rozier

LaMelo and company could miss several games by being place in the health and safety protocols.
Teams across the league have had players miss time due being in protocol this season but not sure it’s been four at one time, especially three starters and your best player.
To help counteract these losses, the Hornets recalled James Bouknight, Vernon Carey Jr., and Kai Jones from the Greensboro Swarm. Look for Bouknight to finally get some decent minutes with the Hornets in place of Ball and Rozier.
