Boston Celtics star forward Jaylen Brown has been working his way back from a hamstring injury that has caused him to miss considerable time already, only to be downgraded to out ahead of the Celtics road tilt with the Utah Jazz on Friday evening.
Head coach Ime Udoka fielded questions ahead of that contest — Boston’s first game in their annual West Coast road trip — with the press after the team practiced Friday morning, and the status of Brown’s hamstring injury was the very first thing on the media’s agenda to ask Udoka about as the team will be facing some especially tough opponents over the next week or so.
“He had a little tightness (when) he played the game the other night,” shared the Celtics coach, referring to a clearly bothered Brown during Boston’s 88 – 87 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.
