Friday betting odds for 2021 SEC Championship Game

The Gators won’t be playing, but here are the odds for tomorrow’s SEC title game.

The 2021 Southeastern Conference Championship Game is scheduled to take place on Dec. 4 in Atlanta for the 28th time in league history. Unfortunately, this season will not see our beloved Florida Gators take the field like last year, but instead, will feature a heavyweight battle between the top-ranked ranked team in both polls, the Georgia Bulldogs, and the Coaches No. 2/AP No. 4 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide for the SEC title.

UGA features one of the most fierce defenses ever seen between the hedges in Athens, steamrolling its opponents this year as it vies for its first national championship since 1980. The Tide, on the other hand, are having what is considered a “down” season for Nick Saban’s squad, looking much more mortal than in years past.

According to the Tipico Sportsbook, the Bulldogs are favored by 5.5-points over the Tide while the over/under is set at 49.5. The money lines for Georgia and Alabama are minus-240 and plus-190, respectively, as of 10:30 a.m. EST.

Kickoff is set for 4 EST on Saturday inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The game will be broadcast by CBS Sports and livestreamed on the CBS Sports app.
