The Rams will be back at home on Sunday afternoon, their first game at SoFi Stadium since hosting the Titans on Nov. 7. The Jaguars will be in town for only the sixth meeting between these two teams, a game the Rams are heavily favored in.
Los Angeles opened the week as a 13.5-point favorite over Jacksonville, according to Tipico Sportsbook, but that line has shifted slightly in the last few days. The Rams are now favored by 12.5 points, likely due to bets coming in on Jacksonville to cover.
The over/under has increased from 47.5 points to 48.5, and the Rams are -800 on the money line. That means an $800 bet would return a profit of $100.
Both the Rams and Jaguars are 4-7 against the spread this season and they’ve each lost their last three games. The Rams haven’t covered the spread since Oct. 17 against the Giants, however, going 0-5 ATS in their last five games.
This could be a somewhat low-scoring game with the way each offense is playing, and in 11 Jaguars games this season, the score has only gone over the projected total twice.
The Rams really shouldn’t have much trouble with a 2-9 Jaguars team but they’re not playing particularly well right now themselves, and they can’t afford to take any teams lightly – no matter their record.
