The Washington Football Team has its longest road trip of the season in Week 13 with a trip to Las Vegas to play the Raiders. Washington’s last trip west in Week 8 ended with a 17-10 loss to the Denver Broncos.

That’s also the last time Washington lost a game. Since then, the WFT has won three consecutive games.

After an impressive Thanksgiving Day win over the Dallas Cowboys, the Raiders enter Sunday’s game with a 6-5 record. Before that win, Las Vegas had lost three games in a row.

No team in the NFL has faced adversity like the Raiders in 2021. First was the Jon Gruden fiasco and, most recently, the release of former first-round pick, Henry Ruggs.

So, who has the advantage on Sunday?

According to the folks at Tipico Sportsbook, the Raiders open Week 13 as a 2.5-point favorite over Washington. This seems fair for multiple reasons. It’s always difficult for the team traveling to the other side of the country, plus Washington just played in a physical game on Monday night.

Washington has won the previous three meetings and four of the last five games against the Raiders.
