The No. 12 Florida Gators (6-0) and Oklahoma Sooners (6-1) meet Tuesday night in Norman, Okla. The contest at Lloyd Noble Center is slated for an 8 p.m. ET tip-off. Below, we look at the Florida vs. Oklahoma odds and lines and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.
Rankings courtesy of the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.
Florida has posted excellent defensive performances in remaining undefeated through a half-dozen contests. The Gators have held foes to a 39.0% mark from the floor, and they head into December ranked 10th in the nation in points allowed (55.7 per game). Wednesday’s game in Norman will mark UF’s first true road tilt of the 2021-22 season.
The Sooners have been involved in several close games so far — perhaps a couple too many. That includes Oklahoma’s last home game Wednesday when it struggled through 25 minutes against Houston Baptist. OU would win that game 57-40 despite shooting just 37.5% from the field.

Prediction
Oklahoma 68, Florida 67
Money line
Oklahoma plays really good defense and can stay in this game down to the wire by being exceptional on the defensive glass and by not relying on distance shooting or scoring points in bunches.
The Sooners can dial the pace to a point lower than the Gators may be comfortable with, and a Florida team playing a true road game for the first time — and against a veteran OU five — is gettable to the point that Oklahoma -115 is a fair price. Ohio State plays a slower pace than the Sooners and the Gators trailed the Buckeyes for much of a neutral-site game Nov. 24. UF won that game by getting to the line 33 times, which is certainly an out-of-bounds, rarely repeatable, number.
TAKE OKLAHOMA (-108).
Against the spread
With an expected close game, there would be just slight interest in following this Oklahoma +1.5 (-125) play. Some insurance on a one-point Sooner loss in the -118 price range would make sense if the line swings that way. Otherwise, AVOID.
Over/Under
The O/U bettors look to have this one surrounded. Finding value on either side will be tough. PASS.
