One thought on every Thunder player as the first full month ends

With November basketball in the rear-view mirror, there’s been enough time to get a feel for the Thunder.

With the Oklahoma City Thunder’s first full month complete, we’ve seen enough to get a general gauge on the players and the system.

After winning only one of their first seven games, the Thunder sprung into game mode, rattling off four victories in a row and getting up into a play-in spot. Oklahoma City then fell into a slump, closing the month with eight losses in a nine-game stretch.

It’s already been quite the whirlwind. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been up-and-down after playing like an All-Star last season; Josh Giddey has been impressive as a rookie; Lu Dort has taken a step forward.

And the Thunder continue to put in the energy and effort that tends to keep them in games, even the ones they lose.

There have been positives. There have been negatives. Over the first 20 games of the season, there has been quite a bit of action to gather takeaways.

Let’s simplify it with one thought about each player.
