Auburn has had three players enter the transfer portal Tuesday morning.
Auburn running back Shaun Shivers, wide receiver Elijah Canion, and defensive lineman Caleb Johnson are all entering the transfer portal.
There are the first members of Auburn’s squad to enter the portal this offseason amid rumors of other players entering over the coming days.
Shivers played a role as Auburn’s third running back in the offense and an occasional gadget guy in the offense. It makes sense why he would leave and be the lead back elsewhere.
Canion was buried on the depth chart in the wide receiver room.
Johnson was a depth player in Auburn’s defensive front.
