Auburn quarterback Bo Nix could be leaving the program sometime soon.
According to Jim Dunaway, he asked Bo Nix about the transfer portal today on his show and Nix said he ‘is exploring all options.’
This would leave Auburn with TJ Finley, Dematrius Davis, and newcomer Holden Geriner on the roster to battle for the starting spot if Nix were to transfer.
I think that Nix is in good standing with the coaching staff, and at the end of the day, this may get brushed off as nothing more than a rumor or some blown-up drama. However, if Nix does transfer, I would be curious to see how the fanbase reacts as Bo has stepped up his play over the course of this season.
We asked Bo Nix if he would return to Auburn next season. His answer was anything but definitive.
