It’s quite a morning in Norman.
Just a day after the bombshell news that Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley was leaving to take that same position at USC — shocking everyone from Sooners fans to the rest of the college football world who heard him say he wasn’t going to coach LSU — there were signs popping up in parts of the university’s campus that appeared to refer to Riley.
What did they say? It was one word: “TRAITOR.”
Various reports said there were workers taking down the signs, as you’ll see below. But, yeah, this is definitely summing up how Sooners fans feel:

OU removing "traitor" sign from campus property for a second time. This comes just one day after Head Coach Lincoln Riley's USC departure. @OKCFOX https://t.co/oMsOvf6wQg

A somewhat somber mood on campus in Norman today after Lincoln Rileyâs departure. A facilities truck is here cleaning up the seed sower statue where someone hung a âtraitorâ sign. #Sooners pic.twitter.com/xm3kiYNWh6

That said, there are some people pointing this out:

It is funny to me when OU fans call a coach who takes another job a traitor when it has a program who is leaving the Big 12 for another conference. Needs to be said.
