The Atlanta Falcons failed to score a touchdown during the two weeks that Cordarrelle Patterson missed time with an ankle injury. Six points against the Cowboys. Zero points against the Patriots.
Now, Patterson is back, giving the Falcons their best offensive player this season. Patterson didn’t disappoint, scoring two touchdowns in the first half to help the Falcons build a 14-3 lead.
It’s a bit bizarre, but the Falcons really need Patterson on the field, as he showed against the Jaguars. No one was expecting him to be a big time contributor on offense, but he has turned into one of the best offensive players in the entire year splitting time between running back and wide receiver — and he has legitimate skills at both spots.
One touchdown for Patterson.
HE'S BAAAACK‼️

Sure, they’re just playing the Jaguars, but it’s easy to see how much the Falcons missed Patterson during his absence. He’s the most consistent big play threat on the team, which would have been a funny prediction back in March.
