After finishing its best regular season in a decade, Arkansas found itself back in the Top 25.
The Razorbacks (8-4, 4-4) were one spot outside the AFCA USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll last week. But a 34-17 win over Missouri on Friday combined with some losses by teams near the bottom of the rankings to lift Arkansas back to No. 25
Arkansas win snapped a five-game losing streak to the Tigers and provided the SEC with six teams ranked in the poll. On Saturday, for the first time in conference history, the SEC had 13 of its 14 teams reach bowl eligibility. Only Vanderbilt failed to qualify.
The other teams in the coaches poll were No. 1 Georgia. No. 2 Alabama, No. 8 Ole Miss, No. 22 Kentucky and No. 23 Texas A&M.
Arkansas could know its bowl destination as soon as Monday, but it’s more likely to be a few days or even next weekend at the conclusion of the conference championships across FBS.
