Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Sunday’s Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants odds and lines, with expert NFL picks, predictions and best bets.

Week 12 of the NFL brings us an NFC East showdown as the Philadelphia Eagles (5-6) try and stay in the NFC playoff picture as they face the New York Giants (3-7) on the road. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium. Below, we look at the Eagles vs. Giants odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

The Eagles have won their last two games. They are curiously 1-4 at home and 4-2 on the road. They picked up a 40-29 win over the New Orleans Saints last week. QB Jalen Hurts had three rushing touchdowns in the win.

The Giants played on Monday night in Week 11 and were blown out 30-10 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They mustered only 215 yards of total offense and QB Daniel Jones turned the ball over twice with a pair of interceptions.

Eagles at Giants odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Eagles 31, Giants 17

Money line

The Eagles are playing good ball right now. The offense is humming, averaging 31.3 points per game over their last three contests.

The Giants are averaging only 17.2 points per game in their last five games. They have not picked up a division win yet and with a number of key offensive players nursing injuries, I don’t expect things to turn around.

Take the EAGLES (-200).

Against the spread

The Eagles have covered the spread in their last two games, in three of their last four and five of their last seven.

The Giants had covered the spread in three straight before losing to the Bucs by 20 points. They won’t be able to keep up with Philly’s offensive production this weekend.

Take the EAGLES -3.5 (-112).

Over/Under

The Eagles are 6-5 O/U this season. Four of their last five games have gone Over the projected total, with the other falling 1.5 points short.

The Giants are 3-6-1 O/U and have not had a game hit the Over since Week 5. The question is whether they will be able to score enough themselves to help the total go Over.

I think New York will. The Giants will get the 17 points they have been averaging and won’t stop the Eagles much.

Take OVER 44.5 (-115).
