Auburn showed no signs of fatigue against the Syracuse Orange.
The Tigers routed Syracuse 89-68 to finish in fifth place of the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament. Jabari Smith led the way with 22 points. Auburn shot 50.7% from the field and an even 40% from deep against the Orange, who have struggled defensively so far this season. However, Syracuse was averaging about 80 points per game heading into this contest, and for the second straight game in the Bahamas Auburn was able to clamp down defensively. Auburn should be please with their tournament performance despite losing to UConn in double overtime.
