With Thanksgiving puns intended in the title, the Cleveland Browns are thankful that quarterback Baker Mayfield was able to practice on Thursday. After missing Wednesday practice, the team listed him as a full participant in practice the following day.
List with ailments related to his left shoulder, foot and groin, the quarterback has a lot to get through. The shoulder issue will be listed for the rest of the season as he requires surgery to fix it. The foot injury popped up recently while the groin injury is new this week.
The team removed the knee injury, suffered against the New England Patriots in Week 10, from Mayfield’s growing list of problems.
Only receiver Anthony Schwartz (concussion) and center J.C. Tretter (knee) did not participate in practice. Tretter often takes a day or two off during the week to keep his knee as healthy as possible while Schwartz was knocked out of the New England game with his concussion and hasn’t returned to practice since.
Jadeveon Clowney, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Troy Hill and Malik Jackson were also limited in practice Thursday.
