Aaron Rodgers denies he has ‘COVID toe,’ actually shows his foot to reporters on camera

He really did.

Earlier on Wednesday, the world at large got introduced to something people might not have known about: “COVID toe,” a condition that researchers have looked into that causes lesions and other painful problems in feet in patients with the virus.

We learned it because Aaron Rodgers said that was the toe injury he has been battling in recent weeks. In a Tuesday appearance on Pat McAfee’s show, the Green Bay Packers QB said he had no lingering effects from COVID-19 “other than the COVID toe.”

Apparently, he was joking or something like that? Because on Wednesday, after The Wall Street Journal wrote about COVID toe, he denied he had it and showed his foot to a camera while speaking with reporters:

… So why would he say he has COVID toe if he doesn’t? Great question. Would love to hear about this one.
