The Cincinnati Bengals’ 2021 draft class has looked pretty good so far, wouldn’t you say? Along with Ja’Marr Chase, their fifth-round rookie kicker, Evan McPherson has been shining all year, with Week 11 being quite the highlight thus far.
McPherson hit three field goals from 50-plus yards as part of a 4/4 day on field goals in helping the Bengals score a huge win in Las Vegas on Sunday to move to 6-4 and into a playoff position with seven games left.
For his efforts, McPherson was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season. His first came in his debut when he kicked the game-winning field goal in overtime to defeat the Minnesota Vikings.

McPherson is now 29/30 on extra points and 15/18 on field goals for the year. Not bad for a fifth-round rookie.
