After securing their third victory in a row by defeating the New York Jets on the road Thursday, the Miami Dolphins will host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon.
According to Tipico Sportsbook, Brian Flores’ team is currently set as 2.5-point underdogs for their Week 12 game. Tipico also has the Dolphins as underdogs on the moneyline with their victory at +105. The over/under for the contest is 42.5 points.
The defensive performance has continued to be the story for Miami in the last month. They’ve held teams just 12 points per game over their win streak, the third-lowest average during that time. There were signs of the offense starting to pick things up against the Jets, but they’ll need to do it against a better team to prove that they’re improving.
Carolina had a pretty dominant win over the Cardinals two weeks ago despite starting P.J. Walker. Then, with Cam Newton under center last week, they lost to Washington. Their defense has allowed the six-fewest points this season, and the addition of Stephon Gilmore only makes the group better. If they can get into the end zone three times, they should be able to win this game.
