In a bit of additional good news for the rejuvenated 49ers, they got out of their 30-10 Week 11 victory over the Jaguars without any major injuries.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan on Monday said cornerback Davontae Harris, who left Sunday’s game with a knee injury and left guard Laken Tomlinson were the only two players to come away with health issues. Both players avoided long-term issues.
Harris, who’ll revert back to the 49ers’ practice squad, should be back in practice this week after an MRI came back clean per Shanahan.
Tomlinson didn’t leave the game, but his status for Week 12 is up in the air because of an ankle injury. Shanahan said he’ll be limited in practice.
Now that the 49ers have righted their ship and gotten to .500 with consecutive wins, health is imperative for them in their push for a playoff spot in a crowded NFC postseason picture.
