The Tennessee Titans came crashing back down to earth in Week 11, losing to the Houston Texans by a score of 22-13 at Nissan Stadium on Sunday, snapping their six-game winning streak.
The Titans simply couldn’t do anything right, especially on offense.
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill had his worst game since coming to Nashville, tossing four picks, including two that set the Texans up in the red zone. In all, Tennessee gave Houston three free red zone trips via its own turnovers.
It could’ve actually been worse, though, as Houston dropped at least two more potential picks on Tannehill passes. Even when he wasn’t throwing to the other team, Tannehill was inaccurate for most of the afternoon.
Tennessee’s defense didn’t notch a single sack, but held up for the most part with the offense gifting Houston great field position on multiple occasions.
Now, let’s take a deeper dive to see what went wrong on Sunday.
