LSU vs ULM: How to watch the in-state battle between the Tigers and Warhawks

How to tune in for the LSU-ULM game on Saturday night from Death Valley.

The final nonconference game has arrived for the LSU Tigers as they head into the final two weeks of the season.

The ULM Warhawks come into Death Valley with an identical 4-6 record. The Tigers need a win this week and against Texas A&M to see the postseason. First things first, taking care of business with an in-state school.

The big question of the week was who would play quarterback. Neither Max Johnson nor Garrett Nussmeier really took a firm hold of the starting gig. However, after Nussmeier decided to redshirt this year, that left it all to Johnson. The hope is that he can remain healthy for the rest of the year. He is the only scholarship quarterback left on the roster. Of course, that could change against Texas A&M if Nuss is needed and they burn his redshirt season.

If something were to happen, walk-on freshman quarterback Matt O’Dowd will be thrust into action. Against ULM that probably wouldn’t be much of a problem, next week against the Aggies would be a different story. If the Tigers build up a big enough lead, you might see the young quarterback get a shot to be on the field.

It is likely we see the LSU offense light up the scoreboard, based on the fact that the Warhawks defense gives up a lot of yards and points.
